Cowandilla Charcoal Chicken - Adelaide

Service was friendly. Chicken was divine, moist, crisp and cooked to perfection. Also ordered a piece of grilled fish to try- was not disappointed, great size and tasty. Chips are amazing. Worth a visit and has become a local fave.

Best Schnitzel packs... Make sure your hungry because they're big! I dropped a star because I think their chickens could be cooked a bit more for my liking. Great shop though. I'm in my 40's and used to visit this gem of a take away shop with my grandma when I was about 7 or 8 years old. One thing I can never work out about the shop is the clock on the wall ... Great charcoal chicken shop! I tried the chips and gravy which were second to none in price and alright in taste. Incredible variety of salads and chicken is fresh

If they want a cheap and plentiful feed, this place will have covered them. salates are very good, but I doubt that most of them come here. at my last opportunity I had a Yiros menu that came with a dose of soft drink and a huge servier device or chips (which I could not finish.) my friend had a seafood pack that was at least twice as big as what they got on others. a good Bro-Lunch-Day location

Generous size, good chips. 9:90 for 2 large fish pieces and chips/leons/tartars. wow! the Roast pack is solid and plentiful. many selection of salat and prefabricated. the chickens are gland, but kudo for the use of coal.
