Bidrage med feedbackDiscovered a fine dining spot in the hills of Adelaide The Bridgewater Mills. The waterwheel is built in 1860, till now the iconic waterwheel outside is definitely a popular spot for photos . With the warmer weather, the jacarandas flowers are also in full bloom . The restaurant primarily uses ingredients from South Australia, showingcasing the freshness of local produce and top notch service, truly embodying the Taste of South Australia and beyond. Highly recommend everyone to check in at this restaurant and enjoy the exquisite food and wine! Alic Food ShangI found a high end restaurant, The Bridgewater Mills, in Mount Adelaide. Since 1860, the waterwheel outside has definitely been a good place for everyone to take photos and check in. As the weather warms, the jacaranda flowers are also in full bloom. Most of the ingredients used in the restaurant come from South Australia. The fresh local ingredients and high quality service fully demonstrate the Taste of South Australia and beyond. I highly recommend everyone to come to this restaurant to enjoy delicious food and wine
You have to wait for at least one hour to get the food you ordered. If you are hungry, don’t go there.
Nice enough but a little over priced Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Today we attended the Bridgewater Mill for lunch. We were looking forward to this special occasion, the engagement of our youngest son his beautiful fiancé together with a close friend. The surroundings of the Mill are beautiful, a winter wonderland. Beautiful indoors, with fairy lights, candles and gorgeous ambience. Inside it was lovely and warm and so inviting. The atmosphere of the Mill is exquisite. We were ushered to our table facing a window with beautiful outside ferns and garden. Water was delivered to our table together with the menus. Quite an array of courses to choose from, we selected our wine, a Chardonnay from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills, quite light, but delicious. From the Smalls menu we chose 3, chicken liver parfait, steak tartare goat burrata, which were all delicious. From the Mains menu, the duck, the mushroom fettuccine, vegan gnocchi x 2 and the king fish. However, apart from the duck meal, we were all disappointed. The king fish was dry tasteless, both gnocchi meals were returned to the kitchen, bland tastelessBrussel sprouts burnt not even on the menu ?!? , the mushroom fettuccine was disappointing with no real sauce present. Of the 5 meals, the duck meal was the only meal that was satisfactory. The Mill offered us a substitute meal for the gnocchi but by then we didn’t feel like another one and opted for the dessert. Deconstructed cheesecake with honeycombthe only dessert available. The surroundings ambience amazing, the service outstanding, the food terribly disappointing especially the size value for money. I wouldn’t recommend the Mill to anyone at the momentthey need to improve their kitchen skills selection review their menu. Very disappointing as the atmosphere is fabulous
A beautiful spot with amazing ambience for a Sunday afternoon meal and drinks. Really tranquil and peaceful. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive without being too over-bearing. Wonderful. @kirbystaltari Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
