Taco 'bout It - Addison

Stopped by here on a Saturday night around 6:15. In the area of Addison, there is a lot of Mexican restaurants to choose from. One of the advantages they have compared to others is that they have a drive-thru! A second advantage in my opinion is the number of different meat options. Overall, the food is good, however, it is a little bit overpriced. As they advertised, it is a casual experience of enjoying Mexican dishes in a modern and comfortable setting. It is locatedin a strip mall, with plenty of parking. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is one of the nicest patio?s I have been to during the pandemic, especially for fast-food. All of the tables have stickers on the tables thatshow a QR code to pull up their menu. Under the tents, they have lights and fans. All staff members were wearing a mask and I did see our server disinfecting tables. We sat outside, and I didn?t see hand-sanitizer available, however, I?mnot sure if there is some inside. Our server greeted us right away, was kind, and he did check on us frequently. We did have a small incident where one of us found hair in our food. Our server and the manager addressed this quickly,apologized, offered new food and they took this meal off the bill. We understand things happen and they handled it great! For food, we ordered: Guacamole and pico de Gallo. Both orders came with a side orders of chips. The chips werefreshly made, however, they were too crunchy for me. The guacamole was lacking flavor and for the amount you receive for the price you pay, it is not worth it. The pico de Gallo was good and worth the price. My sister and my niece ordereda #1 which is 3 tacos served with rice and beans. The tacos are served with onion, cilantro, and salsa with your choice of your meat. There is 17 different meats to choose from. Some of the premium meat is a little extra. This food was good with nice portions, I would say this is one of the better Mexican restaurants in Addison in terms of quality of food I had the carne asada burrito. Service was not so great. The service was quick, but our orders did not come out correct. 2 of our drink orders were wrong and someone in our party ordered no tomato, but still received it with the food. In most cases, this happens during a rush of customer but the restaurant was not busy by any means. I wouldgive this place another try.

Pretty good authentic tacos. Not a fan of them serving the tacos inside with the salsa on there already. However, most of us enjoyed our food. Some of the meat were a bit dry without the lime or salsa but overall a good experience. A bit pricey but we should be back in near future.

Taco bout it is amazing! I went to get some steak for my dogs birthday and they were more than generous ! Food is amazing here ! Steak is tender ! Staff is very nice and always in a great mood! Not sure why no one TACO BOUT IT more!!

Been here on a Tuesday, awesome taco special, tacos are great and inexpensive. Food is awesome. Heard they have a great Sunday dinner take out special.
