I paid $28 for a piece of cold hard steak I had to ask her to heat it up what made the steak harder than I paid, I told them how bad the steak was an employee said I'm sorry... that the other one even said after we heated it up? Oil And when we arrived, the girl waits here when I said why she said we were short staff.
Very disappointed. I ordered the chicken breast to get something similar to a chicken carving without crumbs. Salad was only carrot as a shrimp. On a positive note, the staff was kindly attentive.
Visit your restaurant tonight as part of a large group. Upon arrival we were greeted, directed at our table and instructed that we need Ed to order a certain time. Unfortunately, two of our group were held by a late arriving Uber. We contacted them and asked them to check the menu online so that we can meet the request for the desired time. When ordering, we asked how long meals would be so that we could judge whether our party would have been closed until meals were arrived. We were told 20 to 30 minutes. Meals arrived in just over 10 minutes, just like the rest of our group. Meals were placed on the table and steaks were mixed as in not sure which medium was rare! The last meal for the table came some time after the other. We had to ask for the possibility to order drinks. All in all a disappointing experience. It was positive that all enjoyed their meal despite the less than professional service.
I visited Lone Star Rib House this past Sunday with low expectations, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. The customer service was decent, with most of the staff being friendly, but they appeared hesitant in their interactions. The restaurant had a strange atmosphere, with bright lights and chairs that were either poorly made or designed for very tall individuals, as I struggled to reach the table. We ordered the Southern fried burger, which lacked flavor and left us underwhelmed. The classic cheeseburger was average, but my partner found it unsatisfying. Overall, the meal was not worth the $63 we paid. The saving grace was the tasty Pina Colada drink.
My husband and I visited a restaurant today around 1:00 pm for lunch. The young man who served us was nice, but that was the only positive aspect of our experience. The booth we were seated at was sticky, with missing tiles on the wall and backs of several seats. The floor was dirty with food crumbs, including what appeared to be cheezels and bits of napkins. I ordered a porterhouse steak cooked medium, but it came out extremely rare. The chips were soggy and seemed to have gravy on them, even though my gravy was supposed to be on the side. The salad was drenched in a terrible dressing. My husband's coffee came after the meal, without a saucer, sugar, or spoon. The total bill was over $80, which we felt was a ripoff. The restaurant was rundown, not clean, and not busy. This was our second bad experience at this particular Lone Star location in the past year, and we will not be returning. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.
