Bidrage med feedbackThis is the new signage of Fruitiland located on the costera directly across from the Fiesta Americana. Prices still the same 25 peso for a terrifically healthy shake and about 15 different one's to choose from. The chorizo huervos are really good and it is a nice people watching location. This place qualifies a cheap eats.
The old location is still open but just around the corner the new location sits directly across from the Fiesta Americana. This spot is 100% more visible and has more people frequenting the new spot. There is no signage yet currently a Cielo sign hangs above the restaurant. Good breakfast and very good fruit smoothies.
We made the mistake the first day we walked by thinking it would not be good. We learned the next day and had breakfast about every day there after. The smoothies are the best I have had in Mexico they start them with fresh squeezed orange juice the add real fruit, I ask for mine with a bit more ice. Rudy the owner speaks perfect English, and they have English menu. The food is also good a few Mexican egg dishes I had one of each.
I always frequent this restaurant when in Acapulco. The new location is called Sabroso y Casero and is right on the costera and directly across from the Fiesta Americana (just around the corner from the original Frutiland location). It's open air, very clean, and the food and healthy fresh fruit drink combinations are consistently delicioso. Try the breakfast specialties, such as the "Arriba, Arriba eggs". For brunch or a light dinner they also cook fileta de pescado exactly the way I like it, thin and lightly breaded and served with rice plus your choice of salad or frijoles (black beans). There are many other choices on the menu as well, such as ham and cheese on a croussant, hamburgers, shrimp, etc. Your pocketbook will also appreciate the economical prices.
We have been coming to Acapulco for over 25 years. "Shame on us" for not frequenting this Restaurant. After reading reviews on Trip Adviser we decided to bite the bullet. What a gem, small, but clean. Frank speaks excellent English, loved our breakfast, coffee and juice. Service was great and the ambiance of true Mexico. The total cost for a juice, coffee and 2 full breakfasts $12.00. Cannot wait to go back and try their lunch, Torta or Hamburger and fries? They are open until 4pm and on weekends until 6pm.
