Bidrage med feedbackWhat an amazing place, we stayed at the Mundo Imperial and not once did we see any advertising for this place. Once we checked out we met our family who drove us around the corner to the restuarant and just WOW !!!To start off with everything is divided into stations - sushi made fresh / then salads, juices, meats, mussels, a big joint of beef with gravy, soups, make you own pizzas and outside a BBQ where you can pick the meat or fish - I had salmon and fillet steak and they bbq in front of you.To make this experience even better, they serve Moet by the glass and its unlimited. We came for a cousins birthday and its was an amazing experience and worth every bit of money. Would highly recommend anyone who is staying in Acapulco to attend. Just wish we had the same in Mexico City !!!
We went there with the family for the brunch on sundays it is a great option, much better than any brunch or buffet offered at any hotel, it has stations for seafood, meet, pasta, omelets, mexican dishes, desserts, features champagnes and other drinks included.Really recomend it.
This was our third visit to A Roma Bistro for the Sunday Buffet. Each time there was a different variety so you never get bored. The food is all fresh and very tasty. The salad bar is fresh and good variety, The juice selection amazing. A sushie bar, a ceviche bar where they make it up fresh for you as you like it, an omelette bar, a good selection of hot foods and plenty of seafood as well as pork and beef. There is grilled food outside as well! There is something for everybody, even pizza (not my choice) The place is very pretty as well and very clean and modern looking. The staff are friendly and very attentive. You get very good food and plenty of beverages for the money. Dessert is fabulous as well. Will definitely return!
I don't like brunches, so we went on a Saturday night for a romantic Italian dinner. The area is quite nice although a bit kitch with all the gods and goddesses statues from antique Rome. The restaurant is very modern, very spacious and full of televisions that presented the latest soccer game. Not quite the best place for a romantic meal. The wine list is correct although the waters don't know their wines mistaking a Spanish wine for a Chilian wine. The food is honest but not great and not original. The service was very good. I will not go back but I can understand why it attracts certain clienteles. It's your choice!!!!.
My wife and I went to this restaurant because we were staying at one of the other Mundo Imperial properties. The resort is the newest property and this restaurant is located at the far north end of the promenade, so you have to walk down the promenade from hotel reception. The venue is all new on the interior & exterior. The ambience is typical of a resort restaurant with casual modern decor. The food was an excellent blend of Italian with a Mexican flair. I particularly liked the Minestrone with zippy Mexican ingredients; you don't normally get them in Italian themed restaurants in Canada or US. The selection on the menu was good even for someone with numerous food allergies. We selected fish and chicken for mains and both were good. The vegetables (potato, zucchini, sweet potato) were done well and portions were just right. My risotto was OK but not spectacular. The service was over the top with our team of servers; Miguel, Carlos and Julio. They worked well together to meet our every need, especially since as Canadians our Spanish was limited. Their English was good, and they were glad to practise more with us. We both chose glasses of local Mexican wine. I had a very respectable Cab Sauvignon and my wife had Chardonnay-Chenin Blanc blend that she enjoyed. The desserts were unremarkable but tasty and well presented. My wife is a Tiramisu fanatic, and this instance did not make her top ten list. My chocolatissimo was interesting but not outstanding. We finished off with a pleasant Ramos 10 year old port. Overall it was a very enjoyable meal at one of the better restaurants in Acapulco Diamante. IMHO price of the meal was modest at around 1000 pesos (not including tip) for the entire evening.
