Burgtaverne - Absam

Il locale è situato nell'antico castello che ospitava la Zecca imperiale e si presenta piuttosto bene. L'accoglienza è sana, dignitosa e anche piuttosto simpatica.La carta... beh...come detto nell'oggetto se ne siete amanti e volete sbizzarrirvi scegliendo uno dei fantasiosissimi Cordon Bleu proposti in carta siete nel posto giusto. Ben fatti e ben presentati. Il resto lo annoterei tra le cose che non si ricordano affatto. Anzi.

Wir statteten der Burgtaverne in Hall einen Spontanbesuch ab. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und bemüht. Leider gibt es auf der Speisekarte nur Fleischgerichte (bis auf Spaghetti mit Gemüse oder Kässpätzle). Raucher- und Nichtraucherbereich sind nicht durch eine Tür getrennt, deswegen riecht es überall nach Rauch.

Because I do not speak German, there were several other guests that translated for us, including when the restaurant was open and what the menu items were. When we found out how the items were cooked, I ordered the liver, which was absolutely delicious. The only liver better than this that i have eaten is (sorry Mom) in Venice, Italy. Just a light coating on the liver with delicious onions made for an unbelievable dinner.The dinner was absolutely fabulous and the service was excellent, the guests at the bar for after dinner drinks made the whole evening just so special.

First, I apologize because I do not speak German. Today I ate the best cordon bleu I have ever eaten in my life. Better than in Paris, Alsace-Lorraine, Burgundy and Bordeau. If you want a treat directly from heaven, you must order te cordon bleu Klassic at Burgtaverne. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. The service was absolutely magnificent and the entire lunch was fantastic. While the selection of wine was of basically local wines, this could be overlooked with the fantastic food. My wife ordered a steak( and because we do not speak German) and forgot to order medium rare., her steak came out perfect. Delicious and savory, she let me tast several pieces. But there was no comparison. Absolutely the best cordon bleu I have ever eaten. Tomorrow, we return and I am going to order their leber mit zweibl ( liver with onions).

Nach einiger Zeit wollten wir probieren ob unser 1. Besuch in diesem Ambiente zu toppen ist.Jawohl es war wieder perfekt.Die freundliche Bedienung Sloba sehr versiert.Wie hatten Kürbissuppe.Eine Geschmackssensation es waren Kürbisstücke und im Abgang ein leicht scharfer super Geschmack.Die Ofenkartoffel war liebevoll mit einer eßbaren Blume mit einem selbstgemachten Chips und frittierten Kräutern sowie einer Coktailtomate garniert.Den Kräutertopfen hat nur meine Mama so super hinbekommen.Die Cordon bleu für 2 Personen waren 3 Stück zum auswählen.Wir entschieden uns für Apenzeller American und die unpanierte Version mit Schwammerlsauce.Die Schwammerlsauce allein ist es wert in die Burgtaverne essen gehen.Dazu gibt's 3 Beilagen wie hatten gemischten Salat Reis und wie schon beim letzten Besuch den sensationellen Kartoffelsalat.Ganz ideal ist daß es auch am Nachmittag die ganze Karte gibt.Also unbedingt probieren wir kommen privat mit Familie sicher wieder.Super!!
