Waterfront - Aberfeldy

Very good food a must try is the smoked salmon and crayfish starter and from mains the beef stroganoff and the sirloin steak. We went to the restaurant two days in a row and I'm glad we did! Lovely service (helpful and smiling), amazing atmosphere and I imagine that the lake view in the daylight must be wonderful.

Attentive and friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant is situated on the River Tay with a wonderful view. I ordered the venison loin which was cooked well and the creamed potatoes were delicious. However a dish like that lives and dies by the sauce and unfortunately the bacon jus let the dish down.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive despite being busy. I highly recommend the sausage and mash with onion gravy, but others in my party also enjoyed their meals. The Croque monsieur was not very authentic, more like a toasted cheese and ham sandwich.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The views are stunning and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend dining here.

The food is okay, but adding some variety to the menu might appeal more to repeat customers. I am not a fan of the constant monitoring of the dining area by the staff.
