Milton Brasserie - Aberdeenshire

The baking at this restaurant is exceptional, some of the best I've had, and the location is very nice. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor service. There was a mature woman who appeared to be in charge, but she just glared at everyone, and the staff stood around chatting at the bar. Despite the quiet atmosphere, we had to approach them to be served.

Took my grandparents out to this restaurant for the first time in a while and they really loved their lunch. They gave it a high rating! Lexi provided very friendly service.

What a great find! The staff, especially Cat, were wonderful and made our day. The service was fast and the food was excellent. We're looking forward to coming back soon.

Had the best lunch with family today, service was impeccable, staff were so friendly. The starter special was the best I’ve had in a long time. Such a cosy atmosphere. Great end to our family summer holiday. Will definitely be back.

After a visit to the gallery at the Milton I went with friends and family to the Milton Brasserie for a coffee. It was drizzling outside and we wanted a warm friendly place to chat before heading home in different directions. Unfortunately we found the opposite the waitresses looked really fed up, there was no atmosphere at all, the Maître d' barely lifted her head when we arrived and turned her back on us when we left. But the worst thing was that the coffee was the worst I've ever had. Not to moan too much but how is it possible to make such awful,bitter coffee with such a beautiful Italian coffee machine. I doubt I'll be back, shame as the place looks lovely from the outside.
