Soul - Aberdeen

I loved it in here. For such a large city centre bar it was extremely clean. Sport on tv. Gorgeous stain glass windows. Bar was lay out well and offered a good choice. The only reason a 4 star is because they messed up my food order.... however, they never charged me for it. Staff were attentive. Worth a visit. Old church, great feel.

Would highly recommend a visit here. Modern and clean,staff friendly and polite. Children's menu available activity sheet and crayons also for children. Main menu has plenty of selection had the standard haddock what was a good size portion with the option of having battered or breaded fish . The batter was light and not to greasy really enjoyable will definitely be back.

Well... what a disappointment. After months of Facebook posts we finally made the trip to the fishmarket. Unfortunately the fish hasn't seen a market in quite some time. Both of our meals and the muscles tasted like seawater. If you are looking for an actual fish restaurant, this isn't the place for you. However, they are still some tasty fish and chips in very nice surroundings and the staff are fantastic. The extra large glasses of wine are great! Dont think we will be going again.... especially as the girlfriend will probable be on the loo all night after the muscles.

Food is pretty good. The battered haggis was very nice light and crispy. Muscles were nice with a good broth, but no bread To enjoy the broth more and the salad that came with it had little taste. Could have given a little dressing. Bartenders didn’t know a lot about the drinks or Whiskey selection. Knew some about the beers on tap. Ok place for a stop off or club atmosphere, but wasn’t overly impressed with the drink selection. Service was ok

Very poor overall. The restaurant is attached to the back of Soul bar and Casino so the atmosphere was pretty poor. Lots of TV 's showing would I lie to you and hen parties walking through with blow up inflatable....... The food was not up to scratch either. We opted for the £30 fish and fizz deal. We had 1 haddock and 1 sole goujons. Both were dry, greasy and presented like they had be thrown on the plate. I hope the bay of Stonehaven distance themselves from this restaurant as it is not on the same level. The only redeeming feature was the service. All the waitresses were friendly and speedy. I 've heard other bad reviews about the proper seafood (mussels, lobster, oysters ect) so it seems both styles of seafood are not up to scratch at the Fish market.
