Billy's And Grill - Aberdeen

I'm updating my review with even more disapoitment as I posted this a week ago and not a soul from Billy's has responded to us or returned my call! Very disappointed in our first and most likely our only time in. We placed an order to go and it was ready in a timely manor with less then friendly service.We were excited to try the burgers after reading reviews. We ordered the belt buster to share, requested it cut in half and it was. Beyond that it was all disappointing. Burger was large, extremely dry, not an ounce of of flavor or moisture, bacon was hard, you couldn't see or taste any cheese it looked like it might have been cooked right off. The rest of toppings where little at best. Possibly the worst burger either of us have had in our over 50 years. Fries were just okay kind of soggy. Eating out is a big treat and $21.00 for a very over cooked under whelming burger is ridiculous! We should have taken it back but we were headed back home to South Bend. We tossed 3/4th of the burger and most of the fries! $24.07 in total without including tip. I've added our receipt. I would have given no stars if I could have!

Decent beer selection. Had the Fort George Xander IPA. For dinner, my wife and I each had a 14 oz Rib Eur steak. Very well cooked. Excellent service.

Stopped for lunch had the chili and corn muffin along with tator tot with cheese and bacon. Both portions were enormous and tasty.

Billy's Bar is probably my favorite restaurant in Aberdeen. I frequently order their pan fried oysters, which are fantastic. My other favorites are their Rubens and burgers. If you haven't had them before, you should definitely check out their deep fried pickles. For years the only place I could find them was Louisiana. They may sound a little strange, but they are great and Billy's does them the best I've had anywhere. Obviously, I highly recommend this place. My only complaint is that if you live in Central Park, they won't deliver through DoorDash. They deliver to the rest of Aberdeen so I've pleaded to include my area, but to no avail. Very disappointing I'd frequently order from them, but it's not an option.

Needed to find a place to watch 2nd half of USA vs England so Billy's was the place. We both got burgers. They were cooked well. Our server even made fry sauce for us. Service was great. Food was fine. Nothing spectacular just fine
