Bidrage med feedbackI typically do not write reviews, but I felt it necessary after my recent experience at this restaurant. My friend and I stopped by for drinks and food on a Friday night and decided to sit on the terrace, which was nice with the fire burners. Despite a long wait for our food, everything seemed to be going well until a customer started smoking near us. I politely asked him to move as the smoke was blowing in our faces while we were trying to eat. Unfortunately, the waitress rudely informed me that customers are allowed to smoke wherever they want. I was taken aback by her response and felt as though she was encouraging the behavior. I simply asked for the individual to move, not to change the restaurant's policy. I hope management addresses this issue and trains their staff to be more considerate towards customers, as we are the ones who support their business. Our experience cost nearly $100 and I hope this review will prevent others from encountering the same situation. Thank you.
Love this place food delicious service excellent. Can be a little loud later in the evening. Beer good price The servers remember our beverage order, we often go, never with an empty glass.
The first time we were two couples. It's easy to find in Abbotsford Yale Court. At the end of the court's exit sign. There were some hose bands with some fans at the entrance. Something happened with water on the ground floor. The pub is located at the top of the stairs on the second floor. The layout is not the best and I think it could use professional designers or someone with a vision to make it look better. There are two different types of ceilings. In the majority of the room was painted black and another with plates. There are 2 walls black painted from the same ceiling color that do not go to the ceiling. You look improvised and temporary. Other walls seem to be drywalled. These black walls look empty, naked, there are some small prints, but it doesn't look good; so there is the impression of incomplete. The dry wall white wall at the entrance has a lottery screen and 2 more TV's up, the distance and size of the screens seemed to have no sense. A few machines attached to the wall. There are more TV screens on other walls and a pool table at the end of half a private area. Some tables are high and some regular height. Like a salsa: tomatoes, onions and paprika is an expression of Spanish use to describe a salsa like a place with a little of this and a little of that tormented together: But there is a fantastic view of some very large windows in a corner, at the end of the pub! There is a shelf in a corner right below one of the windows with a few beer cans and boxes. This is a waste of a fantastic space with a great view! A table for two could go there instead. It has good floors... good space shots, lots of potential to look much better and with a minimum investment. I found it for the first time with music something wild, like heavy metal. No need for this music and this band. We couldn't talk without screaming: We went as soon as we ate and left our drinks. We would have stayed longer and maybe play pool and have more drinks, but the sound has blown us away. Our friends ordered the 6 ounce tact with shrimp, baked potato and salad. Very cheap and it looked very well served. My husband had the Perogies, but he didn't like them as much as he wished, and I had a chicken cesar salad that was perfectly good. When my husband and I went past us in Abbotsford, he ordered the 6 ounces of service and I ordered the chicken cord blueburger. He really enjoyed the bet that is the right size for us, as we are not great carnivores, and my burger was very well prepared. We really enjoyed these two meals and since that time we sat closer to the windows it was a nice time to enjoy a sunny bright day, the views and our meals. Both times the servers were very nice and polite. The waiting period for the food was appropriate. We go back and hopefully the volume of music will be reasonable.
While we live nearby, we visited this pub a few times a month. Always good food, friendly staff and seductive specialties.
Felt like we were in a cafeteria...hard/uncomfortable chairs.. no rhyme or reason to the tables. We sat down and were greeted pretty quick, drinks ordered and on the way. Menu is quite pricey... Both of us had a meal, husband had a beer and I...a soft drink and it was over $40. Food was good
