Bidrage med feedbackWe had read a lot of the good reviews and we're traveling through the area and decided to take a chance. I will say directly that I have not had a lot of great experiences in Spain with Sushi because there is a confusion here that seems to revolve around the idea that combining rice with raw fish is sushi and unfortunately that is not the case. I've only eaten in two really good sushi bars in Spain out of maybe 25 or 30 that we have tried. Unfortunately that was the case here as well. First and foremost the ordering is really confusing because the menu is not clear. There is a tablet that arrives at the table where you can order from and then there's also a separate menu where you can order different items directly from the waiter. As mentioned in many of the other reviews, the service is very kind and gentle, but the actual food service as sushi is not particularly good. The most important ingredient in great sushi is the preparation of the rice and the balance ratio between race and well-prepared and will cut fresh fish. There is a reason why people learning to be sushi chef spend 6 or 7 years learning just have to make the rice. The quality of the rice, the temperature and the flavor are extraordinarily important to offset against the quality of the fish. Here in the restaurant the proportion is extremely unbalanced. Way too much rice and very thinly sliced pieces of fish. What happens is the rice overwhelms the fish. You don't get a chance to really taste of fish and my wife and I ended up finding ourselves cutting the race in half and leaving it on the plate just so we could taste the fish. Speaking of the fish; the selection is fairly minimal and I don't know what was happening with Chef that day or maybe his training is not that great, but he did not really know how to cut fish in terms of the thickness of the slice or the direction of his cut. The tuna we were served was cut in such a way that you could still see the ligaments in the tuna and cut against the grain and it was fairly odd tasting fish. In fact nothing in the menu that we tasted for fish was particularly that outstanding. I don't mean to be critical but if you're going to serve sushi serve the best possible sushi that you can. Unfortunately I don't think I will be going back.
Fantastic presentation, and incredible taste. Best sushi in A Coruña, no doubt. Worth visiting. Restaurant decoration is very well taken care of, and guys are really kind.
We share a friends dinner. Everything was perfect. The food but also the place and the people there. You can always try something new as they always prepare several daily original sushi pieces. You can also enjoy its food with take away. No doubt I will be back soon!
Today we have suppered in this restaurant my partner and I on the recommendation of a friend, and has dripped us. I'm a vegetarian and my partner eats fish from time to time, so we decided to go, as we love the two sushi. the attention was good and very friendly by the girl who attended us, answered all my questions about unproblem vegetarian options. a delicious sushi and although the prices are somewhat high, they are worth a fresh and quality sushi. We will probably come back.
Very nice place, rich food and excellent treatment. I have kirin beer that's very rich.
