Bidrage med feedbackLocated in a corner of a shrine, this soba restaurant utilizes a traditional Japanese house design. You can compare and taste two types of soba from Okuizumo-cho (Yokota small soba and original improved variety). There were hardly any young people there. In the garden, there were statues of Susanoo and his wife. If you are visiting for the Oni no Shitatama festival, I think it's worth stopping by. It costs about 1,700 yen for all this.
This is a soba restaurant located in the office of Inada Shrine. The strong flavor of the soba and onigiri was excellent. However, I personally found the dashi broth to be too strong in soy sauce, which is not to my taste.
I arrived a little before 11am on a weekday. There were already 3 groups waiting, but I was able to get in easily. I ordered a variety of buckwheat noodles to compare, along with limited quantities and salt onigiri. The two varieties of buckwheat noodles and salt onigiri arrived first. I ate them just with the broth, without any condiments, and they had a good texture and matched the broth well. Soon after, the Yokoita small buckwheat noodles arrived. Before finishing the first two, I tried the Yokoita small noodles with just the broth. The smell of the noodles is amazing, a bit nostalgic, like the taste of buckwheat noodles I had a long time ago. It's definitely a completely different experience. The Yokoita small noodles appeared slightly darker in color. I devoured all 5 dishes of buckwheat noodles. The salt onigiri was also delicious, shiny and didn't need any seaweed. My stomach was full by the end.
