Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant in the Hitachi-Ota area after searching for a soba restaurant with high reviews to satisfy my craving for delicious soba noodles. The restaurant is located in a tranquil old Japanese-style building with a large dark blue noren hanging at the entrance. The restroom is located outside. Despite the lunchtime crowd and full parking lot, I was pleasantly surprised to be seated within about 5 minutes. I ordered the tempura soba (950 yen) and it arrived after a short wait of about 10 minutes. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff worked efficiently to minimize the wait time. The tempura was freshly fried, with a crispy texture. The tempura made from homegrown carrots and potatoes was superb, and the onion tempura had a sweet and crunchy taste that was delicious! The soba noodles, made from a mixture of common buckwheat and 30% soba, had a smooth and slightly chewy texture that was incredibly tasty. The noodles were thick and short, with the addition of yamaimo (mountain yam) making them pleasantly chewy. There is also a cafe-style section next door where you can enjoy coffee while eating soba, and I would like to visit there next time.
If you want to enjoy Hitachi autumn soba, I highly recommend this place. It's always crowded because it's so popular, but if you avoid the lunch rush you might be able to get in smoothly. I recommend trying the seasonal mountain vegetable tempura and the unique local dish of kenchin soba as well.
I had to wait quite a bit since people who lined up before the restaurant opened were already eating at 11 o'clock, so I recommend going at a later time. The soba noodles were not too thin or too thick, with a good chewy texture and very delicious. The tempura was also crispy with a light batter.
旬菜天ざる蕎麦大盛りを注文。 二八ならぬ三七蕎麦ですが、挽きぐるみの田舎蕎麦で、風味が感じられてとても美味しかったです。また、紫いもやヤーコン等の珍しい天ぷらもサクサクでした。 お店は平日でも行列覚悟なので、開店前もしくは、14時過ぎが狙い目です。 ご馳走様でした。また伺います。
上天ざるそばを注文 手打ち蕎麦、ほくほくの白身魚、さつまいも、旬野菜の天ぷらが最高 美味しくいただきました 隣接してカフェも開店 アイスカフェラテ、そば粉のプリン、そば粉のスコーンをいただき、蕎麦の香りとミルクの甘味、コーヒーの苦味、酸味を楽しめました
