Bidrage med feedbackI usually indulge in dorayaki with plenty of sweet red bean paste, but once in a blue moon, I crave for a Dutch pancake. When I don't feel like going all the way to Yuzawa, this place is quite convenient as it is relatively close. Ever since I stumbled upon the sign for Dutch pancakes about 4 years ago, this place has been a handy spot to grab a quick snack during work breaks or as a souvenir for my wife. The traditional, down-to-earth atmosphere is irresistible. There are three tables inside the restaurant, where you can enjoy okonomiyaki along with snacks, making it a heaven for students and children alike. Since I've only ever had Dutch pancakes here, I am looking forward to trying out the Koala-chan pancake and okonomiyaki next time.
A nostalgic atmosphere at an okonomiyaki restaurant where many children have passed by clutching their pocket money since the old days. You rarely see such cleverly packaged small candies elsewhere, and I wonder how many children who once frequented this place still remember it. Even those children who have already grown up and graduated may unexpectedly appear to see the ever-energetic auntie's face. The Dutch pancakes are also recommended for a light snack. Auntie, please continue to watch over the children with your gentle gaze and lively voice for as long as possible. This place is a small town community corner where you can understand its charm after just one visit. Recently, they have also added koala-shaped pancakes on the menu...
The atmosphere of the restaurant, the kindness of the staff, and the overall vibe were oddly soothing. I tried the Dutch pancake for the first time and it was delicious.
