I went to see a shamisen live performance. Although I could only understand about half of it due to the accent, it became a memorable experience of the trip. The live performance was powerful as it was played up close. I also had some ramen!
A izakaya located in Nyuto Onsen area. The specialty here is the grilled stick conger eel, which is a must-try despite the high price. While it is called conger eel, scientifically it is a type of freshwater eel that is cut into chunks and grilled, making it a rare delicacy of the Ogata Peninsula. Also, the salt and pepper yakisoba is delicious and highly recommended.
刺身は新鮮で、焼き魚もその日のねた。 そして棒穴子は、パリパリに焼かれた皮と大根おろしがよくあって美味しかったです。堪能できました。値段は高めでした。
