Bidrage med feedbackWith the pictures attached I was very optimistic. Pricing was very high for what it was. I’ve paid about the same price for very very nice golf courses. The fairways were very poorly maintained with huge bare spots every where a lot of mud to deal with and they were not cut as low as they should be. The greens for length of grass was what the fairways should of been with large bare spots on the greens as well as the greens were very bumpy. We paid for 18 holes by the time we got to the 9th we left not a good golf course. DO NOT LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU!!!!!
Very overpriced for the Shape this course is in period they shouldn't be charging this much until they get at least decent enough to land the ball on some level grass. Goat track
Stuck between a 2 and 3 star review. There is certainly a good to great golf course under all the bad out at Eagle Ridge. The price of 18 holes and a cart is highway robbery for the condition of the course and the amenities surrounding it. Many of the fairways were so long that it was similar to hitting out of first cut or even short cut rough. There were also a number of fairways featuring large bare patches or over irrigated swamps.Conversely, the greens were in great conditions and are the gem of the course. Many challenging and tricky greens. This were well maintained and really increased my view of the course. The layout of the course is a bit repetitive. So many of the tee shots are some variation of a forced carry and a deceptive landing area. The architect also seemed to love the idea of almost every approach shot being uphill. Finally what really turned me off was that on a Friday afternoon the superintendent decided that turning on the sprinklers was appropriate. I am not talking about 5 6 or 7 pm. They turned on the sprinklers for the first 4 holes at 2:30 in the afternoon.
Most of the fairways are like hitting out of the parking lot.
This is one of the most disappointing golf clubs I have ever had the displeasure of attending. Their grounds are always a mess, so it makes it extremely tough to even golf. But the one thing that has made me stop attending the golf course for the foreseeable future, is the fact they exploit one of their employees and take advantage of them. The employee is unpaid, and forced to work in conditions that are harmful for them. It’s extremely upsetting to see the owner partakes in these actions, and this employee is always joyful, lovely to be around, and works hard, and the owner takes advantage of the fact the employee wants to work hard and please others. But not paying them? And forcing them to do work that they aren’t even a legitimate employee for the golf course? That’s outrageous and disgusting. I hope people will stop attending this golf course and giving their money to a business that does this type of thing with vulnerable people.
