The food was very good, the service very nice and the price-performance ratio more than super. the dining room is rustic and you feel very comfortable there. Unfortunately, the next day was rest day, otherwise I would have eaten right away.
Let's go home from the short trip if we get a tip from our neighbor. If you are near Rain am Lech, you need to return to the Boarn. There's plenty of delicious food for little money. So finished, our car parked on public parking at the marketplace and looked. On the main road under many other possibilities of entry we found a butcher shop Stöckle and in the showroom the menu of this place. The door is closed now. Precisely – the side street is in and through the hotel entrance you can reach the good room. Not really recognizable as an entrance to a guest house. Service We were kindly greeted at the counter and asked if we were reserved. We have the last free table. A lady brought the menus and immediately asked our drinks. The drinks came fast and they picked up the rest of the order. Here is served what just comes from the kitchen and not table wheat. The salad comes right after the order, with us before the soup. Spotzl still eaten on soup (had my bakers, I hate the softened things) and the first came to eat. The second reads some time waiting. At least you have the salad you don't have to look at at Hungry at dinner. Cleaning works and serves when a dish is empty, it is taken immediately with the words that fit it. We ordered two alcohol-free wheat at €2.80 per, Menu 1 – Liver dumplings soup, serving calf yogurt “Menchner Art” with dumplings, homemade potato salad and salad plate, fruit yoghurt for €8.50 and the broth soup for €2 and the surhaxe with semmelknödel and sour word for €7.50. The broth on the soups was made themselves, had a nice strong taste. The liver tilts slightly fluffy, very good with super liver taste. Brätnockerl were of some firm consistency, tasteful ok, they could have been a little more for us, but they were pampered by liver inflammation. There were still fresh cuts and bakery, I don't have to write about it anymore The salad plate consisted of yellow ointment, herbal salad with cumin, cucumber salad with dill, radii and mixed leaf salads. There was a delicious mustard dress and a tomato top. Fits, taste and everything fresh. The part of Kalbshaxe were some pieces of meat, super delicate and juicy. It wasn't quite adult either. Tasteful 1a, just like the sauce. A spicy and slightly ally cook. The potato dumpling had a nice consistency and was filled with bread core, there was nothing to taste from taste. The potato salad does not have to go back, there are chefs who can season. He was still a little lukewarm and the consistency we like him. The Surhaxe was a neat piece and there was a sharp knife that was not necessary, the flesh detached from the bone and was very juicy. Tastefully good, because of us it should be cured a little more intensely. The sauerkraut was really nicely cooked with spices and smoked Wimmerl with him, it was a dream of taste, not as raw food as you get it more and more often. The semmelknödel also of beautiful consistency, not leached and lubricated. On the scratch there were still self-made Resche Röstzwiebeln. The fruit yogurt consisted of strawberry yogurt with slices in it, above there were two pieces of fresh strawberry and pistachios. Yoghurt, let's not say that. PLV for food is great and it still tastes and is all fresh, 4.5 star ambience It is a large guest room as you often accommodate in Bavaria with wooden paneling beams on the ceiling, corner benches and chairs. Everything is made of light wood. There are larger and smaller tables, on the larger several guests are joined together, but it is always kindly asked before. A few blows and pictures decorate the guest room and on the window benches are flower sticks. The wooden chairs have patterns in the backrest. Actually, a nice guest room, it looks at some new and is well maintained if it is not quite narrow and the noise level is very high and that comes and the many guests at some tables are also a little annoying. On the table is a bright pink fabric medium ceiling, there is a fresh rose, beer lid in a holder, a glass with tealight, salt and pepper shaker, and the cutlery and the napkins lie on a tabletop. 3.5 star cleanliness What we could see in the guest room was clean, tables are immediately deleted and tablecloths renewed. Clean the toilets with the usual dust traces. Here you should empty the garbage buckets between them, through which many visitors were very crowded and a part was already on the floor. 4 stars
Eating on a business trip alone is boring but not avoidable so I depend on people welcoming me. That didn't seem to be the case in this restaurant; first I was placed on a table with locals even though there were many others available and unreserved. After I ordered my drink I went to the reception to get internet access where I was told that people should be talking to each other and not surfing the internet, but they make an exception for me... back on my table the other unknown people did not really want to talk. Got my food, finished my drink and now I'm sitting here for 30 minutes waiting to order another drink. Getting ignored, I decided to use my time efficiently and log in to TripAdvisor to leave this feedback...
I stayed here for 1 night whilst cycling. It's right in the middle of Rain. Interesting concept, butchers shop, guesthouse and restaurant.I was alone so had a single room, which was compact but functional and clean.The restaurant was really busy , serving great food at incredibly reasonable prices.The breakfast buffet was fab, everything you wish for and was served from 6am.
