So what was more obvious than catching the Schlemmerblock and looking for a suitable Italian restaurant. So the choice fell to the pizzeria/Osteria “Am Wetteramt” in Offenbach. Ambience and greeting: The small restaurant presents itself inconspicuous. It was my first thought when I came to the restaurant. Nothing special, but not unpleasant. We were greeted directly before the entrance by a service personnel (can be a smoke break). Welcome to the restaurant was also pleasant. Service and menu: The service was okay. A little inconspicuous, because no candle was refilled all night into the empty tealight container, and also one and other service errors are included. We had to remember the drinks. The menu can be called a standard card of an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately without highlights and recommendations for the day. She also seemed very expensive for Offenbach relations. Beverages and foods: When choosing drinks we chose freshly tapped Bittburger Pils and a Campari soda. However, this was not mixed with soda as on the map, but with mineral water. As an appetizer there was a spinach cream soup and an Insalata di Mare. The main course was a Scallopina Gorgonzola with frits and salad as well as Scallopina Pizziola (with tomato sauce, capers, olives and anchovies) with roast potatoes and spinach. To dessert we then ordered a zabaione and since there was unfortunately no Tiramisu a Tartufo ice (see pictures). The spinach cream soup was tastefully still okay, but had nothing of a cream soup in itself due to lack of cream or other cream. The seafood salad was made from the glass that was confirmed on request by the head of the house. The two main courts were so lala. The sauces were great at both. The meat was not especially, both the fries and the roast potatoes were fies, the spinach was TK-good and the salad blessed with a boring dressing. The Tartufo ice cream was also a finished product. The only artisanal highlight of the kitchen was the Zabaione. This was tastefully really top and freshly prepared. Conclusion: Despite the slumb block and saved €12.50 it was far too expensive for the required performance. Here the whole value for money is not true. If I had been there without the block, I would have gone home stinking. So that was a little easier and I book the evening as a bad experience. Of course I don't think there's a repetition of locality.
