Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I used to go to Pizza Central about once a week to once every other week. I really enjoyed the pizza, but the real draw for us was the gluten free pizza. My wife has a gluten allergy, so this is the only place we can enjoy a pizza when we go out to eat. They only have one size (small) of the gluten free pizza, but it was good, and nice to have the option of eating out while still being allergy conscious. I previously have recommended this restaurant to fellow workers and friends, but now recommend against it after a bad experience. Pizza Central advertises on the window of the store a free pizza on your birthday. My wife was looking forward to getting her free pizza on her birthday, and would remind me on our weekly visits that her free birthday pizza was a week closer every time. I was excited for her too, after finding out that she was allergic to gluten, this was a bright spot in our lives after she had to make all of the dough diet adjustments. However, when her birthday finally arrived, when we went to order our pizzas (I still order a regular pizza when we go), she was told that they wouldn't give her a gluten free pizza, despite the fact that she cannot eat the regular pizza. I was extremely disappointed that after our patronage the business was unwilling to work with us. This may seem like an insignificant matter to others, but I found it unacceptable. Pizza Central is not some large franchise with its hands tied by bureaucracy, it is a small business that should be flexible and willing to satisfy their customer. Because of this incident, my wife and I no longer give any business to Pizza Central, and we recommend against going there to others based on this incident. They could have decided to lose a couple dollars (that likely would have been made up in our generous tipping on that trip alone), but instead chose to lose, at the very least two weekly customers worth hundreds of dollars a year.
