Hampden Diner - Cumberland County

We LOVE the Hampton Diner!!! Great food and great customer service!!!Highly recommend.

Large portions of very good food and friendly service.

I had to get someones attention after being seated for 10 minutes just to get drinks. Service alone was extremely slow. Oh, there was not many people there to get such slow service. Food was ok. Don't think we'll be back.

We have been eating out one night a week, trying different places in the area. The food here was not good. We thought we were playing it safe by ordering a burger and fries….how can you mess that up? The burger was so over cooked, it was dry and flavorless. The French fries were literally chewy. How do French fries get chewy? Tried the little side of coke slaw…literally no flavor. My boyfriend said it tasted like wet styrofoam, which was accurate. Generic ketchup too I should have known the second I saw the generic ketchup bottle)! And the coffee was old and tasted awful. So how do you fix this? We decide to order desserts to go. Chocolate cake and cheesecake. Neither were good…they looked good, but the cake was dry and the cheesecake was mushy. On the plus side, service was good and the server was friendly and nice. Bright lighting and we were seated close to a speaker and the music was loud enough that I had to keep asking my boyfriend what he said. So the atmosphere wasn’t so great either. We surely won’t go back again :

Our server had a terrible attitude and the food wasn't anything I would recommend to anyone....especially for what we paid for it.
