Bidrage med feedbackI visited during a solo trip to the San'in region in winter. When I asked the lady at the Geopark Museum for a lunch recommendation outside of where the crab tour buses were gathering near the fishing port, she told me that they should be open even on Sundays, so I decided to go. I ordered the recommended "Mosaeby" sashimi set, and as shown in the photo, the table was filled with flounder simmered in soy sauce, skewered cutlets, and side dishes! The Mosaeby, which can only be tasted in San'in, was a satisfying dish with a rich sweetness that was even larger than sweet shrimp! You can eat crab anywhere, so the conversation with the head chef also livened up, and thanks to that, I was able to spend a happy lunchtime.
I stumbled upon a pretty good restaurant after wandering around. As you can see in the photos, there is a huge variety of dishes. Although the prices were a bit high, the quality exceeded my expectations. The sushi, simmered dishes, and fried dishes were all delicious. They even offered seconds of rice, but I couldn't finish all the dishes in the end. I heard they serve shrimp chirashi sushi when the season comes, but unfortunately, I missed it during my visit. It looked so delicious in the photos!
I visited around 12pm on a weekday. The restaurant is small, but there were 6 customers already there, and the owner seemed busy. However, the service was polite. I ordered the seafood bowl. As it is a port town, all the ingredients were fresh and had a satisfying taste. The miso soup that came with it even had two shrimp in it, which was a luxurious touch. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
