Bidrage med feedbackWe have tried a lot of different Mexican restaurants this is now at the top of our list. We love spicy food and most places are not spicy. We compare everything like Santa Fe New Mexico because the flavor is amazing and the spicy level is just enough tomake your nose run. The Green **** Mary was delicious. We wished the salsa was a little spicy but it was good, we tried thehot habanero salas wasn?t hot at all next time we will have to try the hot spicy salsa. But the service was amazing the food wasbeautiful placed, the portion was great and the spicy food will keep bringing us back.
This restaurant is fantastic. Let me begin by stating the obvious - if you don't like green chili, this may not be the place for you. After living in Colorado for 6 years, I have a strong affinity for green chili that I hadn't been able to find here, until now. The queso was exceptional. I read a simplistic review that said the queso was just melted cheese. Well, of course it's melted cheese - but it's amazingly melted cheese with spicy green chili! I also tried the taquitos, and they were excellent. Everything was incredibly fresh. And for the ridiculous review left earlier about being under 40 years old, it doesn't matter - you guys are absolutely amazing. I can't wait to come back.
The restaurant offers a menu that is mostly gluten-free, except for items that are fried, made with flour tortillas, or desserts. I appreciated that they also had a small selection of non-gluten-free options. The queso and salsa were delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere and my meal. I would definitely consider returning in the future.
The service was excellent. The restaurant was very crowded and the parking lot was full, but we were seated immediately. The food was delicious, with taquitos and blue corn tacos on the menu that day. I'm not sure why some people criticize this place, but I recommend giving it a try.
We are new to the area and just used google to find something recommended. This place came up so we tried it. It was weird. The decor and ?vibe? is a clash between Tex-Mex and Rt. 66. With scattered ?saints? and religious items. It seems likethey wanted to be a Mexican restaurant but tried to capitalize on the location and Route 66 popularity. The food was also notgood, the theme is ?green chili?s? and they are on everything. The thing is that they aren?t good. They didn?t seem fresh, andmost of the other food wasn?t great either. The ?quest? tasted like melted American, was a strange texture. We also had one beereach, which were expensive compared to other locations around the OKC area. They do sell homemade pies, but we were not in themood for desert really. And again, that added to the weird ?vibe? of mex, Route 66 etc. Overall, strange decor and not greatfood. With that said, most reviews are positive. It?s also worth noting that most people there were late 40s or older. Ifyou?re looking for a good taco I?d recommend the food truck in the parking lot next door.
