Main Sushi - York

I order from this restaurant every few months, and it was always fantastic!! Very recommended. We get the party pills and we've never been disappointed.

The food is good for the price. You wouldn't disappoint. I find the special Lobster meal of good value. However, they are very weak with meat, be it beef or lamb. The salmon is delicious.

It's been a while since I was in Main Sushi since Markham had a million places to eat. I was glad to return to Main Sushi for a meal with the Fam after a long day at Halloween events!! My children were hungry for almost the whole afternoon in Trick or Treat Main Street and Markham Museum for ScaryFest and we were all coveted Sushi. We had sunk earlier this day to check the restaurant and the staff was very friendly and made sure we had a reservation for later this day. Once all the events were done, we came back to dinner. We enjoyed a mix of tailor-made Sushi Rolls, Beef, Chicken and Shrimp Skewers along with a selection of your own meat BentoBox. Who doesn't love good Bento Box, does he? We started with some classic tempura that had almost been eaten before I could even pull out my iPhone for food photos. The Tempura was easy with full pieces of shrimp (we had to get two commands). Then we went to Yakitori, who was very tasteful and not salty or dry. The table ordered a wide selection of Sushi, Sashimi and Nigiri. The staff went out of the way and took care of the children at the table who matched the chops from their sushi roles. The Bento Box I ordered to be a real treat. It had sauteed shrimp, Teriyaki Chicken (only), fresh Sashimi, a few spring rolls, an avocado roll with cucumber. This was a nice and fill Bento Box after all the apps, I barely survived the main course. Main Sushi has been for years and is a local hotspot to eat in Markham Village, this is one of the restaurants packed on weekends, so get there early or you will wait (we have a reservation). We love Main Sushi and we will be back!!

Everything tasted exceptionally terrible should have stopped eating now I have food poisoning I would strongly recommend staying away from this place. Friendly staff

The service and food at this restaurant are consistently excellent. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There is a wide variety of options to choose from.
