I am fortunate to live near Delicacy, which is a hidden gem in Bishopthorpe. The staff are lovely and the quality of the food is consistently excellent.

We had the most delicious breakfast sandwich we've had in ages at this lovely restaurant. Although the staff could be more welcoming since it changed ownership, the breakfast sandwich is truly the best in the area.

Stopped off here after a long bike ride, ravenous! The owners were clearly due to close but nevertheless they welcomed us in and served us wonderful coffee and cake. The menu is small but the goods are home made and tasty. It could use a...bit more seating though.
