Bidrage med feedbackI was saddened to hear that Red Lobster had filed for bankruptcy and closed many locations, so I was relieved to find that the Cross County location was still open. I visited with my grandson and his girlfriend, and we all ordered Snow Crab. Two of us chose Roasted Garlic Snow Crabs with French fries, while the other was plain steamed. Our waitress, Mahalia, was very attentive and brought our drinks, filled our water glasses, and even brought out a basket of biscuits that were a hit. She also provided utensils, bibs, and plastic gloves before our crabs arrived to help us crack them open. I opted to get my hands messy with garlic sauce and loved every bite of my garlic-covered crabs. After the delicious meal, I washed my hands in the restroom with soap and water, but Mahalia also provided hand wipes at our table, which were a handy touch. Overall, we were all satisfied with our dinner and Mahalia's excellent service. I hope the Cross County location continues to thrive. - Sal E, New Rochelle
This is my third and final visit to this restaurant. I will not be returning. The staff is slow to serve and does not check on customers frequently. The most unsanitary part of the experience was the table I sat at. The booth tables have become sticky over the years, making me question when they were last cleaned. The food was below par as well. The oil used to fry the seafood had an unpleasant taste that affected the overall flavor of the dish. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Red Lobster Cross County and suggest finding another restaurant to dine at instead. I would not be surprised if this location closes in the future.
I haven't been to Red Lobster in many years, and my companion had never been before. We arrived around 6 on a Friday night. The hostess was not especially welcoming, as she didn't greet us or say much at all. Despite the restaurant not appearing to be very busy, we were told there would be a 20-30 minute wait for our party of 2. Once we were finally seated, we waited a while for a server to come to our table. While the server was friendly, everything took a long time - from taking drink orders to delivering drinks and the check. I ordered street corn and Parrot Bay shrimp with a lobster-topped baked potato, but my food arrived missing an item and was cold. To top it off, the bathrooms were out of toilet paper in all stalls. Overall, this is not a restaurant I will be returning to.
It's the end of an era. Decided to have lunch at Red Lobster, since it will be permanently closing all their restaurants soon. For lunch time, it was pretty empty. No wait time, got seated right away, once we entered through the door. That never happened before during lunch time, in the years I've eaten here. I usually order the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms, but decided on the Lobster Dip, and Mozzarella Sticks, I wasn't impressed with the dip. Others with me, ordered the Steak Lobster, told the entire meal tasted delicious. We were very much enjoying the food and each other company, we forgot to take pics. Overall, good experience, service was great, meal came with no delay. Sad to see Red Lobster will no longer exist. Great times and memories there.
Delicious Food Excellent Service... I enjoyed my evening... Thanks Brandon and Rodger
