Ya-hots Video Country Store - Yachats

Unfortunately, this restaurant no longer offers the same variety as mentioned in the original post. They still have some dried grains, beans, and spices, but no fresh produce except for a few blocks of cheese. They do not have any vegan marshmallows available.

Honestly, one would not expect to find many vegan options in a small town like Yachats. However, it's impressive how many options there are for vegans in Yachats! Despite the long wait at one of the veg-friendly restaurants, we were pleased to discover a video store/country store that offered a variety of vegan products including bread, deli slices, Vegenaise, chips, chocolates, and even vegan marshmallows. We quickly put together simple vegan sandwiches for our journey home. Thank you for providing vegan options!

Honestly, you wouldn't expect to find a wide variety of vegan options in a small city like Yachats. However, it's surprising how many vegan options Yachats has to offer! There are 2 or 3 restaurants that offer vegan dishes. After spending the afternoon at the beach, we decided to grab dinner in the city. We initially stopped at a veg-friendly restaurant, but the wait was too long (it was a busy Friday night of a holiday weekend) and we didn't have much time to spare. We then came across a video store/drive and decided to see what they had to offer. We were pleasantly surprised to find vegan bread, vegan deli slices, vegan chipotle mayo, vegan chips, and a selection of vegan chocolates. They even had Dandies vegan marshmallows! We picked up a few items and made simple sandwiches for our journey home. It was easy and we were thankful for the vegan options available!
