Dawson's Fish Bar - Worksop

The fish and chips at this restaurant are excellent - so much so that we are willing to drive six miles just to enjoy them. The quality is just as good now as it was in the seventies. We highly recommend this place. If you happen to see a line of customers outside waiting to be served, you can be sure this is the place. It's definitely worth the wait.

This is the top traditional fish and chip shop in Worksop, and quite possibly in the world. The food is delicious, especially the mushy peas. The staff always greet you with a warm and friendly smile. They also have a lovely restaurant next door, with fantastic service and ambiance. We spoke to a couple who have been dining there for over 20 years. As someone who appreciates good fish and chips, I can confidently say that you won't find better than this place.
