Shahi Balti - Wolverhampton

I used to use this takeaway after the Bantock Balti closed and it was just about OK but no great shakes. Went in tonight and ordered a Tikka MAIN and some pappadums. Came to nearly a tenner. Got home and opened lid and there were 8 TINY pieces of chichen. Phoned to say they had given me a starter, but they said no the amount was correct!! Told them I'll NEVER be back again. Wasn't even tasty and pops were not fresh. Absolute RIP OFF. You have been warned!!

Brilliant food with fast delivery and great service. I placed an order of curry’s and naan not only was it fast the food was amazing

I have ordered many times before from this place and they have always met my standards. The quality of the food is always good and it has not been a disappointment. Delivery time is good and i have never had to wait more than the time needed. Will come back again here.

The food was excellent and high quality. The delivery arrived promptly and the service was great. I will definitely be ordering from here again. This restaurant deserves a 5-star rating.

I ordered a balti with rice, onion bhajees, and naan, along with poppadoms and dips. The wait for my food was not too long, and the delivery driver was pleasant. However, when I started eating my onion bhajee, I found a long black hair in it, which made me vomit immediately. I called the restaurant to complain, but the person who answered was not helpful. Eventually, I spoke to a man who claimed to be the chef, manager, and owner of the restaurant. He seemed suspicious and evasive when I asked for his name. He and the delivery driver came to apologize in person, but their behavior was intimidating. They even came into my house without permission. The owner/chef/manager was selective in his responses and seemed to avoid answering my questions about food safety. I believe this establishment needs to be investigated, and I urge others not to eat there. We will be contacting the environmental health department, and we made sure to remind the owner that we have CCTV footage of the incident.
