Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped this month for dinner and were very satisfied with pintxo pincho. we have the lamb pinto, as well as the ham, cheese, kartoffel and chorizo tapas patterned. everything was good with the ibirico ham excellent, and the sauce on the patatas brava was a little sharp that I would like. all dishes were served immediately and the service was attentive.
Yesterday evening a nice Valentine's dinner here! very nice and attentive staff. beautiful ambiente in restaurant. the wine was excellent and the food was very good! the lamb chops, chorizo on the cheese plate, the sauce that came with the fried mushroom balls, and the churros were all for dying. next time I want to try the pork talloin with the mushroom sauce. many thanks for a beautiful experience!
Excellent Spanish restaurant. and I mean Spanish from Spanish. very good service and a sufficient selection of menu options. fast and cheap. many of them come from Spain, which is a plus. very good service and overall, a great restaurant experience for us spaier lacks at home. we're coming back.
I had really hoped to enjoy pintxo pincho tapas bar more than I did what is unfortunately. there are some reasons why this review is the way it is. 1. they should update their online menu to price differences between online orders vs takeout and eat in order. we called in a take-out order with the online menu and the prices on the online menu are completely different than if they actually go to pick it up. we paid more than expected. when we asked about the price difference, they said it was because it costs less to order via the online website vs to call? Why would the prices not be the same, regardless of what? which leads me to my next point 2. the portion sizes vs. cost it was simply not worth it in my personal opinion. 3. the txistorra came only with a small piece of brot and then a handful of chorizos that did not “thin” as the description indicated. I personally thought the description was misleading and it was not what I expected to be overall. we also ordered the paella de pollo, croquetas de chorizo, and empanadas de pollo, which were all ok, but pretty bland compared to other authentic Spanish/Spanish foods. there would have been more seasoned or maybe used different types of seasonings that taste more authentic and give us the flavor that we hoped. the food was well prepared, but again portion vs cost only not for me. when we picked up the food, it was a great atmosphere and a great service. the food was nicely packed and still fresh when we came home what was a plus. this was my first experience here, so maybe taking out the order is a completely different experience than eating.
Went with a group of friends which is the optimal way to go for tapas as the key is the more plates you can try the more fun the experience will be. Remember plates are small so you will need 10 plates for a group of 5. (We figure two plates per person as an average)Best dish was the eggplant special which blew all of us away. Our vegetarian really enjoyed the pisto manchego and the croquetas de verduras. Everyone loved the patatas bravas (3 orders and the gambas Al ajillo were perfect. Enjoyed the champinones al Jerez. The croquettes de chorizo and the empanadas de pollo weee a hit. I enjoyed the chuletas de cordero. The chorizo seco casero con manchego were enjoyed. The esparagos con ramesco was ok. Overall this was a fantastic experience and the food was delicious. We will be going back!
