Perkins Bakery - Winter Park

Always been a favorite of mine. The Chicken Strips Melt is my go-to and was fresh and delicious. My wifes Big Bacon BLT was very good as well. The Chocolate French Silk Pie, slice was an excellent dessert!

Let me preface that I was a fan of Perkins pre-pandemic; though I didnt order delivery then. The current Perkins definitely needs to rethink "packaging". Using non-compartmented packages and basically putting everything together in a single box doesnt result in anything appetizing. Also; specifically; this isnt meatloaf. Its more like pepper steak. All in all; the food was edible; but not anything more. And the French silk pie was indistinguishable from a thawed out frozen one obtained from any grocery store; which is sad because they used to have a very good bakery menu.

I love Perkins Classic Eggs Benedict! Its always one of my SPECIAL FAVES! You cant go wrong, and its always cooked just the right time which is super important to me. Who wants eggs overcooked or undercooked on this DELISH DISH!? Fruit to the side or a mammoth muffin is perfect. I give this dish a FIRST CLASS ACT every time I get it. It is truly tasty and healthy.

Once again despite the fact that I called Perkins after the placing my order, Perkins STILL did NOT soft scramble my eggs...they grilled and fried my eggs. How difficult is it to scramble eggs?? They failed to provide plastic ware as requested nor any napkins. Simple customer service out the window.
