Winston-salem, Nc Reynolda Village

I love this place! the service is exceptional! eating is simply amazing! I can eat here every day and never be disappointed! the buttercake is devine!

This is my 2nd village tavern I been to. I like this one better than the greensboro one. The Alfredo and Hot crab dip is outta this world. 10/10 going back. ONLY critique is the sauce was a bit too thin for my preference, but flavor, presentation, portion, and quality are great.

I grew up in Winston and first ate at Village Tavern like 20+ years ago. Solid restaurant for relatively upscale casual American fare. I ordered the Blackened Salmon Sandwich (not picture- I ate it too fast . It was very good! However, the asparagus was just abysmal. It felt like a giant “f*ck you” to have someone send these out for a fellow human to enjoy! Y’all did me dirty! Lol. Listen, I worked in F&B forever, I understand the struggle, especially with to go/delivery. But these were destroyed beyond any measure of being edible. Just doing my due diligence to hold folks accountable, I think it helps restaurants be better if they know what happening from a customer perspective. That’s why I still gave 4 stars! Cheers, Kyle

We went to the Village Tavern for dinner on a Friday night. The wait was about 30 minutes and so we walked around the area to look at some of the shops and the nearby lake , which was more of a swamp at this point. The outdoor seating had a nice atmosphere, but due to the heat and mugginess we choose too sit inside for our dinner. The free dinner rolls are warm and fresh, but the butter packets are typical cold and hard. The ceasar salad with chicken was quite large and could feed two. The cowboy burger was excellent and the fries were average. The salmon fish tacos were good sized and you get two. Overall it was a nice experience and I can recommend this for lunch or dinner to anyone looking for a nice outdoor atmosphere or just good food.

Great restaurant, with very friendly staff. The restaurant had nice outdoor seating and was not too crowded today even on a Saturday evening. The portions were really large though, including the kid meals (chicken tenders and spaghetti fettuccine below)!
