Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed in La Posada for 2 nights and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in this beautifully renovated historic hotel and restaurant. The kitchen is eclectic with southwest influences; However, there are options for all pallets. My favorite interior selections were the Bison short ribs and the famous black bean and corn cahowder. The crepes for breakfast were excellent and not excessively sweet. In the morning we sat at the window and watch the trains pass. The staff was extraordinary? friendly, but professional. Keep at the Martini Bar before you sit for dinner. The cocktails are unique and they take their craft very seriously. I have an impromptu lesson about how to make a real old fashion! Staying in La Posada and eating in the turquoise room was such a unique experience and we learned so much about the history of the hotel and Winslow. It was a fabulous surprise. We originally came to Winslow?Stand On A Corner, but we discovered so much more. We look forward to our next visit.
Good food, great atmosphere in a fabulous hotel. Fantastic. Soup and salad were spectacular. The signature soup has been served here since the restaurant was opened in the 1930s. The salad was excellent and our server was friendly enough to share it for us because we wanted. If you travel to Route66/I-40, this is worth stopping time and enjoying a relaxing meal with a great atmosphere. The hotel is amazing and worth visiting.
We drove to the meteorite crater and decided to stop for a quick bite. What a beautiful surprise! The place is really cool and the service was very good. I had her corn and bean soup along with the corn bread and it was delicious. My husband had her tacos and they were also very good. We'll be back when we're back in the area.
Great experience that makes lunch here yesterday. We could sit in the lobby and bring our pet. Our server, Erin, was such a pleasure, and made sure that we had an amazing experience and were well looked after, even if we were not in the main restaurant. The complementary maize bread with a caramelized glaze was the best I have ever eaten (picture). Ordered the Calamari for a starter and it was perfectly kicked, with ancillary sauce that had a tasty little zing without being overpowered (picture). I had the turkey sandwich on sourdough for lunch, which was absolutely tasty, and finished my meal with a beautiful cream brulee and cappuccino (picture). I recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing food and excellent service, including pet-friendly amenities. Thank you.
We stayed at the La Posada Hotel so we decided to try the restaurant out. It was a very good choice. The Crispy Fried Calamari was delicious. The Signature Soup is a creamy sweet corn and spicy black bean. It was so good we ordered another one. We were there for 2 nights and we went there 3 times. It was that good. We tried the Wild Wild Platter, Buffalo New York Strip, ribeye medallions. There are really no other good food around and this place is a gem of Winslow.
