Bidrage med feedbackI was pleasantly surprised by how good this place turned out to be. I'd certainly recommend it!
Great food and large portion. Try the eggplant. It was wonderful!
Really delicious food options, hard to pick just one meat or one veggie. We ordered the noodles and chicken satay. There was a slow line with other people asking lots of questions and unsure what to order but that is out of the restaurant's control. They had a Help Wanted sign so more staff probably would have helped. We had to wait just as long at other restaurant at the Forks so it was fine.
I’m a frequent customer of this restaurant and I almost always eat here when I visit The Forks. The combos are pricey but I’ve never minded because the portions are decent. $16+ for a 1 meat 2 veg plate and I got barely a scoop of each item and he put the wrong food on my plate (probably due to not hearing me correctly), but really? I feel like I paid double for half as much food. I love the food, but this last visit left a bit to be desired. To charge the prices that they do and give me mostly a scoop of sauce isn’t really acceptable. Been eating here for almost 2 decades, first time I’ve had this problem.
A Taste of Sri Lanka lives up to its name, delivering a delicious experience of Indian cuisine that will leave you craving more. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try the butter chicken pockets, which were devoured by my group with delight. Despite the bustling crowd, the food at A Taste of Sri Lanka is well worth the wait. The tantalizing aroma in the air and the sight of eager patrons lining up only heightened our anticipation for the flavorful meal to come. Located in the vibrant setting of The Forks, the restaurant's lively atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, immersing you in the cultural essence of Sri Lanka. Finding a table was easy, and the tray station for dirty dishes was a convenient touch. Overall, A Taste of Sri Lanka is a hidden gem for Indian cuisine lovers and anyone seeking a taste of Sri Lankan flavors. The butter chicken pockets were just the beginning of a delightful culinary journey, and I look forward to returning for more tantalizing dishes. The welcoming staff and inviting ambiance only enhanced my dining experience. If you're in the mood for authentic Indian cuisine with a Sri Lankan twist, A Taste of Sri Lanka is a must-visit destination. Note that this review is based on my personal experience, but I'm confident that you'll enjoy the mouthwatering offerings. Bon appétit! ??
