The food is delicious, the staff is polite and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. It's a great place to visit with friends and colleagues.

This pub is absolutely delightful, with exceptional staff, a wonderful atmosphere, and delicious food. We attended a jazz evening and the group was top-notch. We will definitely be returning very soon. Perfect!

We visited this pub for a family birthday celebration and the staff could not have been any better. Our server was happy and very attentive. She smiled at every interaction and joined in the banter around the table. The food was fresh and excellent.The atmosphere of this pub is very welcoming. Cannot wait to visit again

Beautiful setting in the picturesque village of Sparsholt and beer garden overlooking the countryside. Traditional pub inside with attractive features and a friendly service. We both enjoyed the ribs and the kids bolognese was great too. Decent value and greet drinks selection. Well worth a meal

This pub is set in a lovely location, with gardens and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately everything else was poor. The food was expensive and the servings were small and were not very tasty (the falafel burger had halloumi, which we couldn’t find). The drinks were never replenished and our water arrived half way through our meal. This was a Thursday evening, the pub was not busy but the service was poor. Why is it so hard to make good pub food and be looked after?
