Bidrage med feedbackI was a little surprised that for an expensive loaded backkartoffel that it came with a small tablet of additive and had to be prepared on the table by the diner. my medium well steak was well prepared.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. It was Thanksgiving evening. We had expected it to be crowded and hectic, but we were seated right away and had our pick of several tables outside. It was a little chilly but we had a heating lamp next to our table. The twinkle lights and table fire pits gave the area a nice holiday ambiance. We had a wonderful wait staff, and the server in particular was very attentive. At one point our dinner was delayed maybe 20 minutes. We were OK with that because we were in no rush. Afterwards our server apologized for the delay, which was due to the number of orders in the kitchen. My husband ordered the preset traditional Thanksgiving meal, which included soup, turkey ,mashed potatoes, stuffing, and dessert. Lots of food! He says it was good. not exceptional. I had the vegetarian plate, three vegetable sides of my choosing. I chose sweet potatoes, cream spinach, and Brussel sprouts. Two of the three were delicious. I did not care for the brussels sprouts. They were very tough to chew. and the flavor was just OK. As for the value, we expected to pay a little more for a meal at Ruth’s Chris. It was about $150 for the two meals two cocktails and a generous tip. Overall we have no complaints but we are not rushing to go back either.
The food was very good. But from the time we sat down the service was horrible. Our server did not come to our table for nearly 15 minutes. A server from another table noticed us and then went to get our server. The whole time we were there it was always someone else who had to come and help us. Brittany our server was the worst sorry girl but perhaps you need another line of work
Needing to find a place to eat on Thanksgiving is not optimal. Having a place like Ruth’s Chris open made the experience much better. The food was well prepared and tasty. Oysters were well cleaned. The surf and turf filets and the bone-in filets were seasoned properly and cooked to the right temperature. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were excellent and not an afterthought. Service was understandably a little off, both for thanksgiving but in accommodating gluten free guests, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A great selection of wine as expected.
We had the special Thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious! Very generous portion and we even got a box of leftovers with our meal. The turkey and grave was excellent. Such a nice touch when we couldn’t be with family this year. Morgan took excellent care of us. The decorations were lovely. It was wonderful experience. We appreciate Ruth’s Chris being open on the holiday.
