Goobers Diner - Wilmington

The food and service were great. My wife loved her omelette and my burger was perfect. The diner is a visual treat, boomerang Formica table tops and all. The highlight has got to be the cars. I understand if you show up on the weekend you can see a few more, worth a trip.

We loved this place. Great food and atmosphere. The cleanest diner I have ever been to. Service was amazing.

The food was excellent and good value, milkshakes were especially good. Service was very pleasant and helpful, could not do enough. The place is an amazing example of a traditional American diner, lots of red and white and chrome. But new and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

Food was great and well seasoned. The hashbrowns are the best I probably ever had!!! My only gripe was how tight it is inside. I was basically sitting on top of people. The seats at the counter were too close together. Remove a stool or two to make the people who sit there more comfortable.... but yeah yeah I know... the more seats the more profit, but it takes away from people's comfort. I bumped elbows with the stranger next to me on several occasions ?... All in all, the food earned the score!

Goober's is really my favorite diner. The manager always greats me and my family when we come in. The waitresses are always polite and the food is great. Couldn't ask for more, really lol.
