Bidrage med feedbackAt 10.41 on 5.1.24 called at McDonalds Gower Street for breakfast, after shopping in Wigan. Purchased 2 breakfasts and paid using debit card on machine. We waited over 20 minutes before the food was presented. Even though the order appeared to have been completed at 10.42 their label). The food and drinks were cold. When a complaint was made one breakfast item was replaced. The rest were still cold. When asked for a refund because we could not wait any longer the shift manager apparently refunded money to my debit card but he was unable to provide a receipt. as proof. Unsurprisingly the money has not been returned to my bank account. Service at this restaurant was absolutely appalling. and it was cold . There was nothing friendly about this experience. I ended up going to McDonalds at Lymme service area which was a completely different experience. Staff were friendly and service prompt.
Right, as a rule of thumb I have visited here regularly and have been happy with the service, my food or drink have come out quickly and the staff have always been friendly and helpful, whats happened? Drive thru customers are getting backed up because we have been asked to park up when there are very few spaces, I got hit trying to straighten my car into a space. Luckily nobody was hurt. On another occasion, I only ordered drinks, the drive through was spilling onto the road so I parked up and went in for my drinks and was waiting ages, another lady had been waiting an excessive amount of time and was getting irate as she had an appointment to attend and had only ordered a drink herself . I waited at least 20min for a coffee and a coke. Few week ago, I got an order through the drive through en route to visit family but, i had to turn back around as they had missed my son's happy meal. Today, pretty much same thing has happened,i got my order via the app, told to wait, got our drinks, got a bag, we left, got home, went to plate the kids meals to find their meals had not been included again, also ours were pretty cold and they'd put in a double cheeseburger instead of the triple that was ordered. I Went back for the kids meals, the lad I spoke to was pretty gormless. They seem to have enough time on their hands to chat mindlessly to each other then get orders correct these days. McDonald's, whatever you changed from Oct 2023 onwards or whoever you have hired are ruining the restaurant. I'll only give so many chances before I feel like you're taking the p*ss and I'll not bother with a place again.

Always getting order wrong. Multiple visits and there are always multiple things wrong with the order despite specific instructions on order. It’s not difficult!!
This is best avoided. Seems they catering for drive ins not for customers In store. I went in to buy evening dinner for me and wife, but was lost. Thought I was in a toy shop. There was no counter with staff taking orders. In fact the place was even devoid of the menus on the boards, they were completely missing, as was the pay board where you pick a meal and pay, so had no idea what was on offer. Staff member sweeping up couldn't tell me how to pick a meal. Tried to give me a paper menu which was useless as didn't have my glasses. Ending up going up road on my mobilty scooter to KFC which wasn't much better, didn't even taste like KFC. My days of going to these places has ended just so annoyed my local Mc is shunning paying customers, and letting school kids roam just talking to each other. Thought I entered a kindergarten
