On the other night and the Grouper Special I was fantastic. I also had the peace of Calamari and the garlic bread and both were very good.
I ordered a quarter of chicken vegetable soup. It was $9. There were 90% potatoes, 10% carrots and no other vegetables. There was a little chicken. The taste was good, but what a disappointment! Update: has brought the manager to his offer to give me another soup with my next order and it was very good.
I usually do not write reviews, but after my experience working with John to fulfill my son's baptism, I felt as necessary! John was AMAZING to work with! I was easily able to contact him and he was very responsive. He knew how many foods our family would feed and was super flexible if I had people cancelled last minute. On the day a worker from Bensi came and delivered the food to my house (on time) and set the trays with Heckos. After dinner, my guests went to RAVE to see how delicious everything was! I can't thank John enough for a wonderful experience. We will catering again in the future!
We really enjoyed our meal at Bensi, where Pamela helped us out with ensuring that our dietary restrictions were met! For starters, we got the Beet Goat Cheese Salad and Stuffed Mushrooms. Both were delicious! For mains, we got Zucchini Parmigiana with Spaghetti, Rigatoni Cauliflower with Escarole and Beans, and Cheese Ravioli with Pasta e Fagioli. We topped it off with Tartufo and Eggless Cannoli for dessert, the latter of which the chef whipped up when we asked about cannoli and they found the cannoli shell had eggs in it (desserts are pictured). Overall, the meal was delicious, the ambiance was comfortable, and the service was excellent!
