Cottage House - White County

They could one hundred percent tell we were from out of town. My hubby and I went hiking for our honeymoon and had a terrible flight into ATL that got us to the Cleveland area very late. We did not get to breakfast until after ten and everyone was looking at us like out of towners but they were so nice and friendly. We were late and I think that is why my breakfast score is so low. The system is very unique- like cafeteria in a way. They can make you something to order but you get food from a serving line which was confusing at first. I didn't know if I could get a second coffee and it is hard to KNOW how much of each thing you want when you don't serve yourself but I did like it once I understood better. Having help to know the set up was good and a little lady was trying to help me but I couldn't hear her well. I wanted my hubby to have REAL country food because he thinks its Cracker Barrel... this was close enough and I would definitely go back. It would be so much better had I not felt so dumb and exhausted from the horror flight with frontier the day before. 4 stars on food is only because we were late, taste of everything was 10/10 and 5 stars but a little cold- that's on us not them.

Best brisket I have ever had. I think it's available every day, but someone told me Mondays only. So check. Highly recommend. I'll drop some photos next time. We ate it too fast

Wonderful buffet meal...the Special is the way to go...1 meat, 2 veg, 1 bread, drink and dessert for $11.00. The fried chicken and BBQ pork were great... the green beans, and cream style corn were very tasty, and the chocolate pudding and banana pudding were delicious fare to finish off our meal. Highly recommend this buffet. The workers came around and checked in on us as well as helped an elderly couple which was a nice touch for customer service! God bless this business!

Great food, would like to see less fried. Great people!! Love it!!
