Bidrage med feedbackAfter enjoying the exhibits and tour through the cultural centre, we were ready for lunch. We enjoyed salmon-chowder and bannock. It was the best laughter I ever had!
Had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised at the food here! Short menu, but good quality food and friendly service. Lachs-Khowder with fry bread, bannock taco (venison chili on fry bread) both excellent. Appropriate prices too.
Here for lunch after a magnificent tour through the cultural centre. Delicious food with friendly staff, dining area is amazing structure. Loved my delicious seafood knower with the banana bread.
Local secret hidden gem. Delicious food, nice building, friendly staff. Reliable and peaceful. If you want a coffee and a coffee, or for lunch don't miss the Thunderbird Cafe. Her laughter is the best I ever had, which is served with a big bunch of bannock. I also love their coffee and banana donuts. Forget the chain restaurants and coffee shops, this place is the real deal.
You will not find this restaurant at the Whistler Village or the Plaza. It is hidden away in the confines of the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre and it is a Gem of a restaurant in Whistler. It is located on the ground floor of the...Cultural Centre and serves the traditional flavours of the First Nation’s recipes. We tried the Salmon Chowder with Bannocks (the traditional bread of the Squamish First Nation peoples), and Wild Salmon Salad and both the dishes were well prepared and good to taste. Burgers and muffins were also available with salmon and veal fillings. The service was good and courteous and the food was served to our table. Prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend a visit to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre to enjoy the exhibits, guided tour, gift shop and finally the a meal at the Thunderbird Café.
