The Deichkate is a great, cozy restaurant right behind the dike. Very nice operators and great food. Fish sandwiches are freshly prepared and packaged up to take away. The food on site was also very tasty and plentiful. Even at the end of the season, you are still nice and have an easy-going attitude. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The external impression belies the inner values. Admittedly, we were quite skeptical about whether eating there was a good idea. Visuals, be it the building itself or the owner with his very casual outfit, do not reflect what you get in terms of friendliness and quality for a beach snack bar. Unfortunately, being attentive and responding to guests' wishes is no longer a given these days. Parking: The situation was completely relaxed in September. I can't judge what it looks like in high season.

According to the internet it is open when you go there everything is dark and when you call they hang up without comment bad behavior, NO THANKS
