I'm not going to bore you with pictures that are already on their page. I couldn't add anything unique. The food and staff are amazing. It's been a long time since I've been to a hibachi restaurant, but this did not disappoint. The chef cooked the food perfectly. Great fried rice. The steak was cooked great and the shrimp as well. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.
5 stars for the entree; the chef; Danny, the server. Dinner came with onion soup, hot satisfying; a house salad with ginger dressing. Lettuce was cold refreshing, but, if I go to a mom pop cafe/diner, I’ll accept iceberg lettuce. A seafood/steakhouse. C’mon man; spring for the mixed greens. When I saw how thin the salmon fillets were, I knew it was gonna take a skilled chef to make sure they were not dry over cooked. The mixed vegetables: onions, carrots, mushrooms zucchini were perfect. Don’t know what it takes to make steamed rice good; but this chef obviously does. 5 stars for the chef. Danny was attentive, thorough personable. He let me enjoy my dinner in peace; but afterwards we had a very enjoyable conversation. Studying to be an EMS Tech. You could tell he was a good guy oriented to serve. Plus he’s been at this establishment for 4 years; which says a great deal about Tokyo Seafood Steakhouse. One final comment. Background music makes a big difference in the dining experience gives each of us an opportunity to feel, appreciate absorb the cultural diversity of our world. The white boy rap music playing was a turn off. Traditional, soothing Japanese music could have transported me to Tokyo or at least aided in calmly digesting the excellent cuisine.
My brother was in town and we are seafood people so we tried a new restaurant where he was located. I had never visited this location, but glad that I did. Staff was friendly and food was good. They treated us very well, especially since we came in right before closing. There was only 2 other people with the same idea as we did The food was good and will go again.
If you have never been to a Japanese style steakhouse, I would highly recommend the experience, and the one I would clearly recommend is Tokyo Seafood Steakhouse off of I-20 and Main St in Weatherford. It is not an inexpensive endeavor, but the entertainment value from a good chef is as valuable as the meal itself. The food is served in the traditional courses: soup, salad, rice, meats and finally your veggies. I have included shots of each course as they arrived from my steak and scallop order, including a few shots of the artistry that goes into cooking the food while you watch. I cannot compliment the food here enough. I have been eating here for years and they have some of the freshest sushi (ranging from $5-15/roll), excellent main dishes and some of the best fried rice i have had. However, what makes this restaurant stand out is their level of service. We encountered some of the most polite staff that I have ever seen. Our main server was Ryan, and every answer was either, 'Yes, sir. ', 'Right away, sir. ', or 'My pleasure, sir. ' Drinks were refilled before we even knew they were low and at every course change he asked how it was and if we required anything else when he cleared the table for the next round. Other servers, who did not currently have a table would also check on our status while Ryan was tending to our orders. One young woman even mistook my son because of his long hair and referred to him as 'madame '. When she left, he turned to me and said, 'You know, I am not even slightly offended by that since she was so polite about it. Hard to get upset when she 's that nice. ' Over all the experience was great. Excellent food, good conversation with our table and wonderful service. It was the perfect way to cap off a long week of work and it is something I am looking forward to doing again soon.
