The Velvet Cafe - Waynesboro

I love places like this a local dive. Cutlery doesn't match, the place needs a rehab, but the food is good, the service friendly and fast and the prices decent. The bathroom is clean which implies that the kitchen is clean as well. The pies and ice cream are great too. Now, to my ratings the atmosphere is either a one star or a five star if you like places where locals hang out to eat, then this is a five a tourist would rate this a one. This'll be my go to place when I'm in the area.

This place was very disrespectful the second we walked in we got attitude and not respectful responses I gave the worker the money to pay and she would not touch it. It wasn’t respectful the way they treated customers of color these girls should not work their if they can’t treat people with respect because of a persons appearance

A family diner with everything you would expect. Hubby and I eat here often, they do have the best burgers and their lightly battered whitefish is to die for, always reminds me of my grandma's fried flounder, yum! Enjoy...
