Bronte Road Bistro - Waverley

We visited for my birthday dinner full of joy, to be out and excited to find a French bistro in our new neighbour. the waiters were thrilled, released and open to be rude. it was my birthday, and they were so unfriendly that they did not harass. to establish any rapport, so that no recognition of a special occasion. cost-effective eating and wine on glass rose over price. really disappointed especially for. birthday she successfully ruined a special night with a laborious attitude

I wish I could share this review and give our excellent waiter and eat an evaluation, and another for the owner (I think it was the owner) who demonstrated the most aggressive behavior I have ever experienced in a restaurant. we booked for people before a week. yesterday afternoon the restaurant called and said that for people we would have to pay for a three course set menu. otherwise we must stay with us for further bookings. we decided to return the table after two hours. I would have expected that this was communicated much earlier, but it was okay. we arrived and were warmly welcomed by all our employees. we ordered drinks and enjoy a cozy atmosphere. there were six of us, and we explained to the waiter that we would order for the seventh who was late at work, but we were not sure if this was with us. the excellent waiter explains the menu anyway so we can order for people. after a few minutes another waiter (who I suspected was the owner) explained that in the rule we have to order from a set menu, and we explained that we had not recognized that until this day and had said the person on the phone that we order from the menu and from he admitted that it must have been a glit in the system. he wondered where the other two guests were from our party, and we explained that we would order for one of them, but we were not sure if they would join us. he exploded. when he said he was “except” and what he should do. we repeated that we order for people and go happy after we continued to inflate, we asked him to leave and cool down. we tried to go when we were so shocked at his aggressive behavior. we realized that during the kovid the restaurant had experienced some hard times and the other (excellent) waiter brought us some brot, so we decided to order wein and continue with our stay. most of us have ordered two courses and pages. at our excellent waiter poured wee for us and we had finished our meal. that was nice to eat. I asked him if we should go and he said there were no other bookings. I looked around and noticed a series of empty tables so assumed that we were okay. we were all wondering why the other man made such a deal of us that originally went but who continues to enjoy. we decided to go. Nobody asked us to go. we paid for our food and weeping. when we left the owner, he exploded again and said that he had to turn the people away as we had delayed our stay. despite empty tables around us. we explained that our waiter had told us we could stay and he continued to explode. we left the restaurant. it's as a shame as eating and other workers were beautiful. the wine list was excellent. but we will never return. at the end of the day there are many other great restaurants that we can choose from and I don't really want to spend time on the day after writing this review. but we are so sorry for his personal. To work with such an aggressive person, must be terrible. we hope the owner is looking for help. No one should be treated as we are.

Service was brilliant. it increases the already beautiful food and wein. .highly recommend. great for a special night outside

Paid per head for courses and eating was delicious. we were somewhat disappointed that they don't offer a glittering or a rose for the ladies.

Beautiful restaurant, such a lovely ambience. Thumbs up for the setup and design. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The food is good. Our entrees were amazing, the prawn-filled zucchini flowers are to die for. However regrettably the steak frites we ordered didn’t meet our...expectations, given the great comments we read online it was sadly a bit disappointing. Nonetheless as the service was great, the overall experience still worth trying.
