Wanda's Chapter Two - Wausau

Yummy in our tummies!!! Soooooo good!! If you haven't checked them out yet since the new owners your missing out!! All the food is to die for very reasonably priced!! Salad bar soup bar too!! And the service was awesome our waiter was very tentative!! They had a lobster tail special the night we stopped in~ 1/2 lobster $10.99 included soup salad bar they had a ton of choices on salad bar-it's was all nice fresh too!!

Was there for Father 's Day buffet. Friendly, comfortable, low-key atmosphere with excellent and very pleasant service. The food was delicious, with a wonderful 'home-cooked ' feel and taste. Very nice selection. Will definitely return and will recommend to others.

Had their Friday night fish fry. The fish was very good, not greasy at all. I had a baked potato which came with butter sour cream, equally very good, baked perfectly. The rolls were very tasty, soft inside slightly crusty on the outside. Didn't care for the cole slaw much maybe because it was not the usual creamy mayo I am used too, but my husband thought it was ok. We opted to not have the salad and soup bar for $2 extra with our fish fry but the salad bar looked good with many different selections to choose from. I think the fish fry were very reasonable priced, my 2 piece was only $8. We did have their Friday Old Fashions which were good but could of had a bit more alcohol in them but still great price for the size glass. Overall we will definitely return again and I hope the business continues to profit and serve the community of Wausau.

Everything was fabulous, I had the Special Ribeye, Small which was not what I was expecting since it was bigger than medium, I added scallops which were sweet and delicious. Two dollar 'Old fashioned ' 's which were perfect. Singularly the best dinning experience 's of my life.

Family owned and operated with decent food and daily specials. They are closed on Mondays but then Tuesday is lobster night, Wednesday is Wanda's Mex-itali Buffet night, Thursday is bingo night with the added bonus of an all you can eat fried chicken buffet, Friday? Fish fry of course! With other seafood selections on the buffet as well., Saturday is prime rib night and they do an awesome Sunday brunch. Also have a fresh salad bar, children's menu, a diverse menu that's sure to have something for everyone and finally, a full service bar where the drink prices posted are with sales tax included. Stop in and see for yourself.
