CafÉ Kreidacher HÖhe

The hotel is currently closed (as of 23.02.2019). It has probably been sold and is to be converted. Nothing is known about a possible reopening.

The Kreidacher Höhe was unfortunately closed in the autumn of 2017, one can only hope that a comparable company will be involved again and not a medical clinic or whatever. For years this was a cozy café/restaurant with a beautiful ambience, beautiful views of the Odenwälder mountains and good bakery. On weekends the Kreidacher Höhe was always well visited and always worth a trip. In the time before the closure, the innkeepers probably didn't have a bock anymore and the company had what to read in many reviews. One star is for closure, 10-20 years ago there would have been a full score.

It used to be a very nice house with excellent reputation. Unfortunately, for reasons, we have always been so much left behind that I can only give two stars. That's so bad as I know the locality for better times. Unfortunately, several recent visits were very disappointing.

A very beautiful house with wonderful location, unfortunately managed and apparently not well managed. As much as I know, the host people have plans to finally close the hotel in October 2017. Stay hopeful that an investor will find it again and lead well!
