The Darrington - Wakefield

While looking for a sit-down option instead of fast food on a road trip, we stumbled upon this restaurant. It wasn't our top choice, but many places were closed on a Monday. The staff was extremely friendly and checked on us multiple times, even explaining that our initial order wasn't available and helping us find a substitute. The food, when it arrived, was delicious and the portions were generous enough to warrant a Doggy bag that we gladly accepted.

Came for a family 50th celebration. Was met by Molly at the bar who was great, she created a welcoming atmosphere and made the whole party of 14 feel more than welcome. Food was good especially the new chilli burger, cooked exactly how I asked for it. Although we didn’t have much interaction with the rest of the staff all encounters were professional and friendly. Thanks to the team for a pleasant evening.

Stayed in the hotel through work and can't fault the staff , all the staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, food was amazing. Would highly recommend a stay hopefully back next week.

We visit here every week and 9 times out of 10 molly is on shift and is always providing excellent customer service, we come here for the chicken wings and despos as uts a great deal! We love having our girls day here, molly treats us with the upmost respect and we always feel at home. Highly recommend
