I just spoke the owner, Clyde, I think. I'm sorry, I should have written it down. He was super-professional and apologized for what happened. He also offered me a full refund and a gift card. He knew I was a loyal customer and reacted with great appreciation and willingness to fix the problem. As a supervisor, I can appreciate that. What is how it is handled? How he could handle it was up and beyond! Very remarkable! Pizza ordered. Have ordered from here many times. Pizza?s were boiled and sloppy. Toppings did not correspond to the description from the menu. Slices were terrible, not even sizes. Paid for a paprika pizza and asked for half cheese. But the rest of the peperoni was clearly not placed on the other side. Maybe what happens for $80 dollars worth on the mainland, but not for a local family that can only afford once a month. I should've checked before I left, but I rushed to fool or treat my family. Disappointed and will not return.

A decent meal is the only place near the huts, so all its good? The staff is friendly, they try hard. Some beautiful views of the back and a short walk to a black sandy beach.

This small restaurant near the Waimea Plantation Cottages has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere with many outdoor seats for the beautiful Kaua 'i nights. The food is a good quality, the beer selection just as good with the payment by the pouring concept that is somehow cool. You have also set up corn hole on one side, so bring your friends, eat good food, drink and play. If you are looking for a relaxed, casual place after a long day of travel or a day of hiking in the canyon or beaches, this is a good option. Very casual and pleasant. The only thing that is to be aware is that at the time of this review Hawaii is still running from the pandemic (and it is an island on the way) so inventory can run low. The restaurant was made of pizza dough, so no pizza or bread options, and some of the beer choices were also outside. It is not a reflection of the bad service, as you find 'll similar struggle on the whole island. I'm sure things will be better with time and tourism. The friendly waitress told us that our timing of our visit was literally how the companies were reopened and still do many rebuilds to bring the islands back where they were prepandelic. We are glad to be here and help in our own little way.

Order: Chili and Cornbread (instead of rice). The cornbread comes with honey and butter and is so delicious and goes well with the chili. It is a nice alternative to the rice I have eaten all over the island. We also have the loaded pommes and would order them completely again. The atmosphere is great. The rear veranda overlooks the Waimea hut grounds and the sea. We made friends with a small kitty on the back terrace. There are also beers on tip for which you pay from the ounce with a bracelet scanning system. We didn't do it so I couldn't comment on it.

Good food and relaxed vibe. The salad was fresh and pizza was perfect. The smoked meat was a little dry. Beautiful views!
